Total home sales in Jackson County rose by 55.6% last month to 14
units, compared to 9 units in July 2017. Total sales volume was
$2.2 million, up 78.5% from a year earlier.
The median sale price in July was $111,058, down from
$150,000 a year earlier. Homes that sold in July were typically
on the market for 64 days and sold for 99.7% of their list price.
Jackson County Active Listings Down at End of July
The total number of active listings in Jackson County at the end of
July was 25 units, down from 34 at the same point in 2017. This
represents a 1.8 months’ supply of homes available for sale.
The median list price of homes on the market at the end of
July was $179,400.
During July, a total of 19 contracts were written up from 10 in
July 2017. At the end of the month, there were 20 contracts
pending, compared to 10 at the end of July 2017.
